A. Cancellation Policy

Introduction

Consumers have a right of withdrawal in accordance with the following provisions. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession.

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 30 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 30 days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Larissa Reuter, HETTI., Reuterstraße 62, 12047 Berlin, Germany, Tel.: +49 (0)176 22522577, Email: mail@hettiberlin.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g., a letter sent by post or email). You may use the attached sample withdrawal form, but this is not required.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a different delivery method than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive the notice of your withdrawal from this contract.

We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment that you used in the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that was not necessary for checking their condition, properties, and functionality.

Exclusion or Premature Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods which are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or specification by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.

General Notes

  1. Please avoid damaging or contaminating the goods. If possible, return the goods in their original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please use suitable packaging to ensure adequate protection against transport damage.

  2. Please do not return goods to us freight collect.

  3. Please note that the above points 1–2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
